A Note from our CEO

Hello, my name is Eric Beckerman, CEO of NAXCOM Exchange Inc. I'd like to welcome everybody to this very special first day of the launch of our new Auction Site - NAXCOMAuctions.com

The construction of the auction site actually began well over a year ago. There was a lot of due dilligance put into the new auction site to ensure that it eliminated as much as possible all of the negative issues that are inherent with other Online Auctions, while introducing new features that auction users wanted.

As we begin our new venture, there are obviously going to be some bugs and glitches at the beginning. We request that you be patient and report any and all bugs/glitches to CustomerCare@naxcom.com. No matter how much testing was done prior to the launch, we just won't know how the site will perform until it is opened up to everybody. We built the site on very powerful servers, however, we were already seeing some problems with our main application server, so it had to be returned. A new one has been sent out and it should be in place by early to mid-next week. In the meantime, the current servers should be able to handle the initial first week, however, it is something we will be monitoring very closely.

There are a lot of additional features that aren't live right now that will be in the next few weeks as well. Second Chance Offers, Auction Bulk Upload are the main two projects yet to be released (both are expected to launch by the end of the month).

What you will see now however, are a lot of features, that will make your buying and selling auction experience much easier and more enjoyable:

Buyer/Seller Protection: Unlike other Auction sites, all payments go through NAXCOM so buyers are always protected from "bad" sellers and sellers are protected from "bad" buyers. When an auction closes with a winning bidder, the buyer's NAXCOM account or Credit Card on file is immediately charged. The buyer's payment is placed into a holding account giving them that buyer protection. Because buyers are protected, they consistently show that they are more confident in their bidding and will often bid higher then they would on other Auction sites.


2. Combined Shipping: Another feature of NAXCOMAuctions is that all auction purchases a buyer makes from the same seller on the same calendar day (midnight to midnight PST) the shipping is automatically combined.

3. Dynamic Auctions: When a bid is placed in the last 60 seconds of an auction, the auction is automatically extended an additional 60 seconds. This allows bidders to bid without having to worry about getting outbid at the very last second.

Oct. 15 - TWO NEW FEATURES NOW LIVE!! - The much anticipated launch of the NAXCOM "No Listing Fees" Auctions took another step closer to being launched with the addition of 2 more features that just went live this week.

Make A Private Offer Is Now Live! - The new Make A Private Offer feature now allows Buyers to make a Private Offer to a specific seller for his specific listing. To make a private offer, simply click on the "Make A Private Offer" link next to the sellers's listing. Sellers can then accept, decline or counter buyer's Private Offers using the links in their My Account page. The NAXCOM Private Offers will also be a big part of the New NAXCOM Auctions launching later this month.

Seller Feedback/Performance Ratings Has Launched! - In addition, NAXCOM will be adding its Seller Feedback/Performance Ratings this week as well. Unlike other sites, NAXCOM will act as an intermediary to ensure that buyers can place negative ratings without fearing retaliation from the seller, while also protecting sellers from buyers that leave unwarranted negative feedback.

Aug. 29 - 10 New IPO's on ThePit inc. Joba Chamberlain Bow. Chrome Auto - ThePit.com (NAXCOM's Stock-Market System for Rookie Cards) - is adding 10 New Items (IPO's) on Wednesday (8/29) at 5pm PST.
