Meaning, there are no up front fees (Membership Fees or Fees to List an item) and seller's set an "Asking Price" that they want to receive. Buyer's have the option of purchasing the seller's item at their "Asking Price" or Posting a "Buy Offer" with the price that they are willing to pay.

Basic NAXCOM Definitions

Post Your Buy ListingBuyer lists a price they are willing to pay on a specific item.

Post Your Sell ListingSeller lists a price they are willing to sell their item for.

Buy From A Seller’s Listing AboveBuyer purchases immediately from a Seller’s listing.

Sell To A Buyer’s Listing AboveSeller sells immediately to a Buyer’s listing.

Pending TransactionsOnce a transaction is executed, the payment is deposited into a Holding Account for a minimum of 14 days. These items are labeled as Pending.

Completed Transactions After an item passes through the Pending Status without a dispute filed, the transaction is typically considered Complete.

Price Slash ExchangeAn item’s sale price is "slashed" by 10% everyday until the item sells or the sale ends at up to 90% off.

Cash Referral ProgramRefer a friend to NAXCOM. When they register, they can reference who referred them. Cash will be put into your account for each qualified referral.

SELLERS

  • No Listing Fees : The only time a seller has to pay a fee is when their item sells. NAXCOM takes a transaction fee (see NAXCOM fees link at the bottom of page) when the item is sold. The best part is since NAXCOM is a fixed price marketplace, seller's can add the transaction fees into their asking price.
  • Sell Immediately : There are nearly a half a million "Buy Offers" now on NAXCOM. If you see a buy offer at a price that you're willing to accept, you can immediately sell your item to that offer.
  • Listing an Item : NAXCOM has made it very easy to list an item. To list items one at a time, use the search to see if the item is already listed. If it is, go into the items marketplace and click on "Post Sell Listing." If it doesn't exist simply click on the Orange "Post Buy/Sell Listings" button and fill out the information.
  • Bulk Upload a lot of Listings : NAXCOM also has a Bulk Upload Excel Spreadsheet that makes it easy to add a lot of listings. The link is located right underneath the Orange "Post Buy/Sell Listings" on every page.
  • Fully Automated : Once the buyer purchases an item from you, you receive an automated email with their name, address and item purchased. Once you have received this email you are guaranteed that the buyer has paid in full. You send the item directly to them and you never need to contact them or us.
  • Seller Protection Guarantee : A purchase cannot be made on NAXCOM without payment first being 100% verified. Sellers do not have to ever worry about any "dead-beat" buyers because on NAXCOM there cannot be any. Buyers also pay for insurance on transactions totaling $10.00 or more. This means that you are fully protected against buyer's who claim they didn't get your item. NAXCOM also keeps strict tabs on its buyers to ensure seller's do not have to continuously go through the insurance process. With nearly 1 Mil. transaction, this is not a problem or issue with any of the seller's now selling on NAXCOM.

> How do I search for an item?

One of the main reasons NAXCOM has been able to grow so quickly is because of its Easy-To-Navigate site and the search capabilities that allow users to sort for exactly what they are looking for. Below are some tips for Searching.

  • Sorting Options : On the top of every page you will find a Search Box. Type in what you are looking for and use the three sorting boxes below to bring up exactly what you want. The first sort box allows you to sort by Best Selling, Newest Listings, Highest Priced, Lowest Priced and Alphabetically. Examples;
    Your favorite player is Alex Rodriguez - Type in Alex Rodriguez in the search. Then in the first Sort Box, sort it by Best Selling. The Search Results will pop-up within 5 seconds with 7 Alex Rodriguez featured listings (items for sale that seller's have paid to feature for you to see) and then 25 of the Best Selling Alex Rodriguez items on the site.

  • Browse by Category : On the left side of the page you will notice different Categories. Click on a category of interest to you. Then on the Category page you will find each Category broken out into the most popular searches. For example; if your a Basketball Collector, click on the Basketball Category. On the Basketball Page, you will find searching options for Autographs, Wax Boxes, Cards, Compete Sets, Action Figurines, Supplies, Vintage & More.

  • Search by Seller : Many collectors like to buy from one seller, which helps saves on the shipping costs. NAXCOM has over 300 VIP Sellers with their own Storefront Page. On the left side of the pages, you will notice a link "View All VIP's." Click on that to view what each VIP Storefront Seller is selling. On each VIP Storefront, Categories are once again broken out for you to help you easily navigate for what you're looking for.

  • Other Navigational Tools : In collecting, many collectors have different likes and dislikes. Some like collecting Players or Teams. Some like to put together sets. Some like to speculate and invest in certain players or items. Many like to open up Wax Boxes and Packs and see what they get. NAXCOM, offers many different navigational tools for all the different types of collecting habits out there. Take some time to browse through the site. After only a short period of time, you'll be able to figure out what searching features meet your collecting needs.

 


> How do I BUY an item using NAXCOM's shopping cart?

1. Fair Market Price : After you have found an item you are interested in (see Navigational Tips above), You will be presented with information that will help you determine if you want to purchase the item or not. On the screen below you will notice that every item has a full description along with its Condition / Grade. The Book Price, Last Sale & the 52 Week Highest & Lowest Price that it has sold for

On the left side are all of the Seller's, organized with the Lowest Seller on Top, Highest Seller on the bottom, On the right side are all of the Buy Offers (meaning what a buyer is willing to pay right now for that item). This gives you all the information one would want when figuring out what price they want to pay. If there is a seller that has a price that you like, you can add it to your Shopping Cart (see below). lf not, you can "Post a Buy Offer" with the price you're willing to pay (see below

2. Information About The Seller : NAXCOM also provides you with detailed information about the Seller. First, NAXCOM has a "More Info" link next to each Listing. Click on that to get all the information about the seller, including How long they have been selling on NAXCOM, Are they a VIP Seller (One of NAXCOM's best), What state are they from, How many transactions have they been involved with on NAXCOM, How many listings do they have, etc. You can even send them an email if you have further questions. Keep in mind that every purchase you make, you're protected by NAXCOM's Buyer Protection Guarantee, meaning you are always protected. NAXCOM also removes seller's immediately that don't fulfill transactions.

3. Once you have decided to buy an item, enter the quantity you want to purchase and click on the green ADD ITEM(S) TO CART button.



3. An item has now been added to your shopping cart. To continue shopping, click on the green ADD MORE ITEMS! CONTINUE SHOPPING button, which will return you to the last search results page you were on (if no search was made, you will be taken to the NAXCOM homepage).

Or to save on shipping costs, add more items from the same seller(s). To do this, click on the name link above the item(s) you have already placed in your shopping cart from that seller.



4. To complete your transaction(s), click on the PURCHASE THESE ITEMS PROCEED TO CHECKOUT button.



5. Review the information in your cart, and if you are ready to purchase your items, click the CONFIRM PURCHASE button (if you have enough cash in your NAXCOM account to complete the purchase) OR the appropriate payment type listed below (Credit Card, Check/Money Order, PayPal).





* Please keep in mind that the maximum number of orders allowed in your cart is 150.

> How do I POST A BUY OFFER?

1. To post "Buy Offers" on NAXCOM you must have a valid credit card on file. In the event that your buy offer is executed, the system will purchase the item for you with the credit card you have on file. To add a credit card on file, go into your "My Account" page and click on Add/Edit Credit Card on file.

2. To Post a Buyer Offer, find the item you would like to place a "Buy Offer" on, click the green button at the bottom of the page OR you can click the blue underlined link in the right side column under the heading
.

3. On the following page, enter the desired quantity and price you are willing to pay for the item (shipping/handling charge not included) and the duration you would like to leave the buy offer active for (1, 15, 30, 60, 90 days or with no expiration) and then click the Submit button.

5. Confirm your buy offer information and click the check box that allows NAXCOM to charge a credit card on file. You can not post a "Buy Offer" without checking this box.


Other Important Information For Buyers
  • Watchlist : One of the most valuable tools for buyers, besides the ability to "Post Buy Offers," is the ability to add what you're looking for into your Watchlist. You can add a specific card or a search term. For example; Type in "Alex Rodriguez Auto" into the NAXCOM Search Box. Just above the 25 Sorted Listings you will see the ability to add that search to your Watchlist. Anytime a New Alex Rodriguez Auto is posted, you will receive an email notifying you of the new listing and the price. You will only receive an email if there is a new posting and you only receive a maximum of 1 email per day that has a complete summary of every term and every listing for your Watchlist Items.
  • Portfolio : If you post Buy Offers, you will receive an email anytime a sell listing is posted within 25% of your Buy Offer. However, you also have a Portfolio Page (found within your "My Account" page). Use this to see if there are any other Sell Listings that are near your Buy Offer or to see if another user has posted a higher buy offer than yours.


> How do I SELL an item?

Selling an item to a buyer on the NAXCOM Exchange is safe, fast and easy. There are NO LISTING FEES, and only a nominal transaction fee after your item has sold. You can sell an item by posting a "Sell Listing" and a buyer purchases it at your Asking Price, or by you executing a "Buyer's Offer." Once a transaction has taken place, both parties receive an email confirmation with all of the pertinent information. This confirmation guarantees that the buyer has already paid for the item in full.

Sell Immediately To a Buyer's Posted Price

After you have found a "Buy Offer" that you want to sell to (Buy Offers are located on the right side of the page where all Buy & Sell Listings are posted for each item). Alongside each Buy Offer is the Price and the Quantity that they are willing to buy.

  1. Enter your Quantity that you want to sell in the Box next to the Buyer’s listing.
  2. Click: The SELL button posted below the Buyer offers.
  3. Check over all of the transaction information and click Confirm.

You will then receive a sale confirmation page once the system executes the buyer's credit card on file. You will also receive an email confirmation with the buyer's information.

Post Your Sell Price

Once you have found an item you want to sell or you have posted a New description (Orange Post Buy/Sell Listings), and assuming there isn't a buy offer you're willing to accept, you can post your item for sale. On the left side of the page with all of the Buy & Sell Listings is a list of all of the current "Posted Sell Prices" conveniently sorted with the lowest seller on the top line.

To Add Your Sell Listing

  1. Click: POST A SELL LISTING
  2. Enter a Quantity and Price and click confirm to list the item. When the item sells you will receive an email confirmation with the buyer's information.
  3. Sellers are responsible for maintaining their inventory once they have listed an item for sale.

    > Other Important Information

  • Automated: Both the Buyer and Seller will receive a confirmation email with all of the appropriate information.
  • Buyer Protection on Every Transaction: Buyer Protection on Every Transaction: To protect every transaction, NAXCOM buyers do not pay sellers directly. Instead, buyers pay for items through their NAXCOM account where their funds are put into a pending account for a minimum of 3 days and a maximum of 12 days once the seller has confirmed shipment. This protects buyers against sellers that ship a wrong item or never ship an item at all. With nearly 1 Mil. items that buyers have purchased through the NAXCOM system, never once has a buyer paid for an item and not received their item or their money back.
  • Shipping/Insurance: All Shipping and Insurance charges are automated within the Exchange and are based on the USPS Shipping and Insurance Rates.
  • Transaction Information: In "My Account" Sellers should mark the appropriate box when they have shipped the item. Buyers should check their box when they have received their item. Sellers should click on the "send shipping confirmation box" when they ship the item.
  • Funds Released to the Seller: NAXCOM.com is not an Escrow and therefore the Seller doesn’t have access to the buyer’s funds once the Buyer has received and approved of the item. NAXCOM releases funds based on the status of a seller's account; three days after shipping confirmation is received from VIP Premier Members or VIP Certified Sellers, six days for VIP Members and twelve days for regular members.
  • Disputes: If a Buyer doesn’t receive their item within 10 days they should email their seller. (Copy CustomerCare@Naxcom.com with that email). If the seller doesn’t respond within 2 days, the Buyer should contact Dispute@Naxcom.com immediately to stop the funds from being released to the seller.
  • Buyer/Seller Emails: Email addresses of both the buyer and seller in a transaction are located within the "Transaction Information" found within "My Account."
  • Seller is Sold Out: In the event that a Seller is sold out of an item, they must immediately email the Buyer and offer a replacement item at equal or greater value or offer a refund. Seller's and buyer's that can not reach a resolution can contact NAXCOM and in many cases NAXCOM will be able to find the item through their large network of dealers. Either way, the seller is responsible for their listings and will still be charged transaction fees for out of stock items.
  • VIP Memberships: VIP Memberships are optional. Click Here, If you wish to learn more about the benefits of becoming a NAXCOM VIP Certified Seller, of contact VIP@naxcom.com for more detailed information.
  • Portfolio: Each user has a "My Portfolio" page located within their "My Account" page. Within the Portfolio page each user is shown all of the Buy and Sell Listings they have posted to the site. Each user is also shown if there are any more competitive prices that their own post on an item. This is a great way to keep up on user listings to see if a seller has posted a lower price or if a buyer has posted a Buy Offer on their listing.
  • The Price Slash Exchange: sellers have another option on selling their item on NAXCOM.com. The Price Slash Exchange is a great way for users to immediately sell their item. The sellers start their sale at Full Book/Retail Price. Once the sale begins, 30% is immediately taken off the price and then 10% is slashed off the price until the item sells or the sale ends at up to 90% off. The seller chooses when they want their listing to end at 30% to 90% off. There are no listing fees, however, Sellers that would like their listings automatically re-listed in the event that their item does not sell, have the option of choosing a $.20 re-listing fee.
  • Featured Listings: Sellers also can increase their listings visibility by choosing to list their items under the Featured Listings Page. A featured listing fee is applied depending on the duration of the number of days chosen
  • Transaction Fees: NAXCOM doesn't charge a listing fee, only a transaction fee after the item sells. Since NAXCOM is a fixed price system, seller's are able to add the fees into their Asking Price. Click Here for Transaction Fees.
  • Reprints: Reprinted cards that are authorized by the issuing companies ARE permitted on the NAXCOM Exchange. However, unlicensed reprints and/or counterfeit items ARE NOT permitted on the site. NAXCOM sellers who post and transact these items may face fines and/or suspension from the site.
